I am really excited about this recipe. There are a couple reasons. The first is that it is a recipe that involves strawberries which must mean that it’s strawberry season and that means summer (clearly). The second is that I came up with this because I have finally accomplished my life long goal of getting my hubby to like strawberries. Mission Accomplished.
Now that we’ve established that strawberries are amazing (especially during summer) I must also mention that this recipe involves balsamic vinegar and cheese which I must say are two of my favorite things. That’s really all I have folks. I’ll let these delicious little bits speak for themselves!
2016 has been a big year for me personally. Since I turned 30 in April I spent a lot of time trying to figure out who I am and what I want to do with my time. During this “journey” I think I finally feel comfortable defining my personal style. And here she is folks! The first glimpse! I had a lot of fun putting this together and you can expect to get a Things We Heart Post every month featuring the products and inspirations that we are really craving! Enjoy!
Calling all black thumbs!!! Succulents are for you. I promise. Take it from someone who bought a house that had BEAUTIFUL landscaping which she proceeded to destroy (unintentionally). Seriously, I killed almost everything. So recently I say to myself, man I really like the look of succulents. They are really unique looking and bring a little something different to the table. Then I find out they are sooooo easy to maintain and keep alive. Match made in heaven.
The best part is there are so many different varieties and they look great all mixed together. Different shades of green, brown and purple can all be thrown in a pot and it looks like you are a gardening genius. I’m not even exaggerating guys.
Thus I bring you the succulent wall! Guys this project is so freaking easy and it looks like a million bucks!! I can’t even describe the life it brings to our backyard (you know because I killed everything else).
I love that there is a reason to have taco’s every week. Tuesdays. With that being said, it’s nice to switch things up a bit and try something more than just your average ground beef taco. First off, if you’ve never had pickled red onions before it’s definitely something you need to try. They are super easy and are the star of any dish.
This recipe is really fresh and light and is perfect for a hot summer’s night!
